Older women voters, a high-turnout bloc in midterm elections, remain closely divided between the parties amid competing priorities on the economy, cost of living, and entitlement programs like Social Security and Medicare. Recent Pew and Rasmussen polling shows narrow or shifting margins among those 50 and older, with Democrats holding slight edges in some 65+ subgroups while Republicans maintain advantages in others, reflecting softened 2024 patterns. AARP surveys highlight widespread economic anxiety in this demographic, creating openings for both parties on financial security messaging. The market's near-even pricing between Democrats and Republicans captures this uncertainty, with developments such as generic ballot trends, targeted campaign outreach, and any shifts in voter turnout or issue salience likely to determine separation before November.
