The tight clustering around 47.5–50.5% on TYLOO, XLG Esports, EDward Gaming, JD Gaming, and related outcomes reflects the even spread of China’s four entrants across separate groups at VALORANT Champions Shanghai 2026. Each squad carries comparable regional pedigree—TYLOO and JD Gaming as Stage 2 finalists, EDward Gaming and XLG via points—yet faces stiff opening opposition from teams like G2, Paper Rex, NRG, and Karmine Corp. Recent form shows mixed international results for Chinese rosters, with roster adjustments and home-crowd pressure adding volatility but no decisive edge. This parity in group difficulty and historical underperformance keeps early-elimination probabilities closely bunched through the double-elimination stage.

For the purposes of this market, the China teams are the four teams that qualified for VALORANT Champions 2026 through the VCT China league as designated by the organizer, Riot Games: TYLOO, JD Gaming, EDward Gaming, and XLG Esports. A team is considered eliminated at the moment it can no longer win the tournament: when it loses its Group Stage elimination match or decider match, when it loses a lower bracket match or the Grand Final in the Playoffs, or when it officially withdraws, is disqualified, or is replaced. The Group Stage (September 24 to October 4, 2026) consists of four four-team double-elimination (GSL) groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the eight-team double-elimination Playoffs (October 7 to October 18, 2026).
The first team eliminated is the team whose eliminating match concludes first, according to the official match schedule and results. If two or more China teams are eliminated in matches that conclude at the same time, or by the same official announcement, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed team name comes first alphabetically.
If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled, postponed after November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or no China team has been eliminated within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". If the first China team eliminated is not listed in this market, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the VALORANT Esports website (https://valorantesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCT/2026/Champions) may also be used.
