The Texans hold a clear roster and schematic edge heading into their two-game series, anchored by an elite defense returning nearly every starter and quarterback C.J. Stroud operating behind an upgraded offensive line and backfield. This positioning gives Houston strong implied probabilities to win both matchups, particularly the Week 18 home finale. However, the split remains nearly as likely because the October road game at Nissan Stadium offers Tennessee a realistic chance to steal one result behind Cam Ward and added skill-position support, while late-season rest or variance could flip the return fixture. The Titans' overall projected win total and divisional standing limit their odds of sweeping the series.
