This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most scrimmage yards (rushing yards plus receiving yards). In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more scrimmage touchdowns (rushing touchdowns plus receiving touchdowns) during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher average of scrimmage yards per touch (scrimmage yards divided by the sum of rushing attempts and receptions) during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If the 2026-27 NFL season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in scrimmage yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 NFL season opens with a wide field of contenders for the scrimmage yards lead, as the market prices reflect near-even implied probabilities across dozens of running backs and receivers. Early training camp reports and preseason usage patterns show comparable workloads for players like Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, Bijan Robinson, and Ja'Marr Chase, with no single back or wideout yet securing a clear edge in touches or efficiency. Offensive scheme changes, quarterback stability, and injury recoveries keep projections fluid, while historical leaders face competition from younger talents in high-volume offenses. This parity stems from league-wide balance in talent and opportunity, leaving traders assigning similar weight to established veterans and rising contributors until regular-season trends emerge.
