The wide-open field for most first bloods at VALORANT Champions Shanghai stems from a deep pool of aggressive duelists and entry fraggers across the 16 qualified teams, with no player posting a decisive edge in opening-duel metrics during the 2026 season. Recent regional playoffs and international events like Masters London and the Esports World Cup highlighted comparable first-kill ratios from standouts such as lukxo, Cryocells, PatMen, and N4RRATE, while roster stability and map-specific aggression have kept head-to-head advantages minimal. The GSL group stage and extended double-elimination bracket will spread opportunities across dozens of maps, amplifying variance in clutch situations and team compositions. Trader consensus reflects this parity, as historical patterns at prior Champions events show first-blood leaders often emerging from mid-tier performers rather than preseason favorites.

First bloods recorded in overtime rounds count. Only completed maps count.
If two or more players are tied for the most first bloods, this market will resolve to the player with the fewer first deaths (FD) across the entire event. If a tie persists, this market will resolve to the player with the higher total kills across the entire event. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the player whose listed in-game name comes first alphabetically.
If a player not listed in this market records the most first bloods, this market will resolve to "Other".
If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled, or is postponed such that it has not concluded by November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source for this market will be the vlr.gg event stats page (https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/2766/valorant-champions-2026), using the FK (First Kills) column. However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
