This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Platinum Glove award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Pete Crow-Armstrong holds an overwhelming edge in the NL Platinum Glove market due to his continued elite center-field play for the Cubs, where advanced metrics such as Outs Above Average and defensive runs saved place him among the league leaders once again. Building on his strong 2025 campaign that featured Gold Glove honors and a near-miss for the Platinum award, the young outfielder has posted highlight-reel range and consistency in 2026, reinforcing trader consensus around his front-runner status. Other contenders like Jared Triolo, Patrick Bailey, Gabriel Moreno, and Ezequiel Tovar trail significantly, as their strong positional defense has not matched Crow-Armstrong’s overall impact or frequency of standout plays this season. The wide spread in implied probabilities reflects the market’s view of his sustained excellence amid a competitive field of Gold Glove-caliber defenders.
