A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With the 2026-27 Liga MX season in its opening weeks, the assists race sits wide open due to a crowded field of creative attackers and minimal separation in early returns. Multiple teams feature dynamic wingers and attacking midfielders—such as Alexis Vega at Toluca, Óliver Torres and Lucas Ocampos at Monterrey, Juan Brunetta at Tigres, and Ezequiel Bullaude at Santos—who deliver through progressive passes, set-piece delivery, and transitional play. Small sample sizes after limited matchdays keep tallies distributed, while roster depth, rotation, and fixture difficulty prevent any single player from pulling away. Historical trends in the league show assists crowns often decided by sustained form rather than early bursts, leaving traders pricing a broad group of candidates with comparable implied probabilities.
