The inaugural Freedom 250 on Washington’s new 1.7-mile, seven-turn National Mall street circuit creates a level field with zero prior data or track-specific form to separate the 2026 IndyCar field. Recent Portland results reinforced Alex Palou’s championship lead, yet the debut venue’s tight layout and limited practice time introduce variables that compress implied probabilities, clustering most drivers in the mid-40s while lowering frontrunners like Palou, Lundgaard, and Kirkwood. Trader consensus reflects broad parity ahead of Saturday qualifying rather than any single standout edge.
