This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026-27 Premier League Player of the Season award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by the Premier League. If multiple winners are announced, this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 Premier League season is cancelled, or there is otherwise no such award announced by June 13, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Premier League (https://www.premierleague.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Premier League season has only just begun, leaving the Player of the Season market wide open and producing the current tight clustering of implied probabilities around 45-50% for numerous candidates. With minimal 2026-27 match data available, trader consensus reflects pre-season expectations built on 2025-26 form—such as Erling Haaland’s Golden Boot record, Cole Palmer’s creativity, and Bruno Fernandes’ assist-leading output—alongside factors like squad depth, managerial changes, and transfer activity at clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal. Over a full 38-game campaign, variables including fitness, goal contributions, team results, and fixture difficulty can rapidly reshape standings, keeping the field competitive until sustained performances emerge. Lower-priced names face steeper paths due to established hierarchies and historical patterns favoring proven attackers and midfield influencers.
