The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Eli Lilly and Peptron; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Eli Lilly’s 2024 agreement with Peptron granted only non-exclusive research rights to the SmartDepot ultrasonic spray-dried PLGA microsphere platform for sustained peptide release, explicitly excluding commercial manufacturing or sales. Nearly two years later, no technology-transfer or licensing announcement has surfaced despite ongoing feasibility evaluations that were extended into 2026. Lilly’s June 2026 partnership with Camurus for the competing FluidCrystal platform targeting long-acting incretins has further signaled a shift away from Peptron’s technology. With the October 7 resolution date now roughly two months away and no credible catalysts reported, traders see limited scope for a binding commercial deal to materialize, producing the current 87.5% implied probability on “No.”
