Stephen Bunting enters this World Series of Darts encounter as the clear favorite at 61.5% implied probability, driven primarily by his superior PDC world ranking and proven consistency against elite opposition. The English player, a former BDO world champion and multiple ranking-title winner, maintains strong recent form across major events despite occasional World Series inconsistencies, including several early exits this cycle. Raymond Smith, an experienced Australian, has dominated domestic WDF events with high averages and retained titles like the South Australian Classic, but his PDC record remains limited against top-tier travelers. No confirmed injuries affect either player, though the Australian venue may offer Smith a familiarity and crowd edge. Darts' inherent variance and set-based format keep the matchup competitive, with Bunting's experience and checkout efficiency anchoring trader consensus around his edge in this single-leg contest.
