Brisbane Lions enter the Q-Clash with clear advantages that underpin the 81.5% implied probability. Sitting fourth on the AFL ladder at 14-7, they boast superior percentage and recent momentum after a 67-point rebound win over Hawthorn at the Gabba, offsetting an earlier loss to Carlton. Historical dominance adds weight, with Brisbane claiming 12 of the past 14 meetings against their Queensland rivals. While niggles have affected players like Kaidean Coleman and Hugh McCluggage, the squad’s depth and experience contrast with Gold Coast’s 8-13 record and 14th-place standing. The Suns showed resilience in a win over GWS but face a tougher matchup at home against a side that has consistently controlled these contests through midfield strength and forward efficiency.
