The Hungarian NB I title race for 2026-27 appears wide open early in the campaign, with multiple clubs posting strong starts that have compressed implied probabilities across the field. Újpest, Puskás Akadémia, Vasas, and Győri ETO have each collected points while showing attacking output and defensive organization in the opening fixtures, preventing any single side from pulling clear. Ferencváros retains historical pedigree and squad depth but faces a more even schedule and direct challengers who have carried momentum from the prior season’s title fight. This parity in recent form, combined with balanced squad resources and no decisive injury or transfer shifts yet, sustains the tight clustering as traders price in realistic title paths for several teams rather than anointing an early frontrunner.
