Multiple clubs enter the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign with comparable profiles for second place behind dominant PSG, as reflected in the tight trader consensus. Marseille, Monaco, and Lille lead recent previews and betting markets on the strength of summer reinforcements, managerial stability under Bruno Génésio at OM, and established European experience. Lens, Lyon, and Strasbourg also feature prominently due to squad depth and prior top-four form. With the transfer window still open until early September, roster tweaks continue to balance attacking options and defensive options across the group. Pre-season results and official injury reports will likely drive early odds movement once the August 21 kickoff arrives, keeping the runner-up race fluid among these sides.
