Barcelona and Real Madrid enter the 2026-27 La Liga campaign as the clear title frontrunners, with simulations assigning the defending champions roughly 46-63% probability of a three-peat and Mourinho’s returning side around 31-41%. This positioning leaves Atlético Madrid as the consensus favorite to claim second place, reflecting the club’s consistent top-four pedigree, defensive organization under Simeone, and projected gap over the chasing pack. Recent preseason fixtures and transfer activity have reinforced the big three’s dominance, while the absence of major injuries or disruptions among their squads has kept implied probabilities stable ahead of the August kickoff. Lower odds on other sides capture their realistic but limited chance of a surprise podium finish.
