This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Peru Liga 1 for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Peru Liga 1 for the 2026 season per the rules of Peru Liga 1 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Peru Liga 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tight clustering of implied probabilities around 43-49% for over a dozen clubs in the Peru Liga 1 2026 runner-up market reflects a wide-open race driven by balanced mid-season form across Apertura and Clausura phases. Alianza Lima’s strong points haul and goal difference give it a slight edge in trader consensus, yet teams like UTC Cajamarca, Cusco FC, Los Chankas, and Sport Huancayo post comparable records and recent results that keep their second-place chances viable. Depth in the table, inconsistent results from established sides such as Universitario and Sporting Cristal, and the absence of a dominant challenger create multiple plausible paths to the runner-up spot, with home/away splits and remaining fixtures likely to decide the outcome.
