The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Islam Makhachev holds overwhelming trader consensus as the likely UFC pound-for-pound leader through the end of 2026, driven by his undefeated recent run, welterweight title defenses, and consistent top billing in official UFC and media rankings. His 28-1 record, including a November 2025 decision win over Jack Della Maddalena and sustained lightweight-to-welterweight dominance, positions him ahead of peers amid a volatile landscape. Alexander Volkanovski sits second due to featherweight title activity and veteran consistency, while Alex Pereira and Ilia Topuria have seen probabilities decline sharply after mid-2026 losses at the UFC Freedom 250 event that disrupted their multi-division title pursuits. Bantamweight contenders like Petr Yan and others trail further behind, reflecting limited near-term paths to overtake Makhachev’s established edge before year-end.
