**Como, Lazio, Sassuolo, Juventus and Napoli sit tightly bunched at the top of the market because multiple Serie A sides enter 2026-27 with strong recent defensive foundations and targeted reinforcements.** Como conceded the fewest goals last season and kept the most clean sheets under Cesc Fàbregas, carrying that momentum into the new campaign. Inter bolstered an already stingy back line with John Stones and Djed Spence, while Juventus added Jhon Lucumi and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario. Lazio, Roma and emerging sides such as Sassuolo also feature compact, well-organized units capable of grinding out shutouts across a 38-match schedule. With only a handful of fixtures played and no dominant defensive frontrunner yet established, the wisdom of crowds reflected in the clustered implied probabilities underscores the depth of competition for the most clean sheets.
