Both NFC West rivals enter the 2026 season with comparable roster depth and recent competitive history, including multiple close contests in 2025 that reached the NFC Championship. Preseason training camp reports show minor injury concerns for the Rams, such as Puka Nacua’s psoas soreness and several rookies already on injured reserve, while the Seahawks have addressed depth with additions like linebacker Aaron Smith and safety Nick Emmanwori’s return from ankle surgery. The teams split their matchups across Week 16 at Lumen Field and Week 18 at SoFi Stadium, creating balanced home/away dynamics that favor a series split in trader consensus. No decisive edge in coaching schemes, quarterback stability, or defensive upgrades has emerged to shift implied probabilities away from the tie outcome.
