Alex Palou's commanding 110-point lead in the 2026 NTT IndyCar Series standings, built on six victories and consistent top finishes for Chip Ganassi Racing, drives the overwhelming trader consensus reflected in his 94.5% implied probability. His recent Portland win further extended the margin with five races remaining, underscoring superior pace, qualifying strength, and reliability that have defined his multi-year title defense. Challengers including Kyle Kirkwood, David Malukas, and Christian Lundgaard trail significantly despite occasional strong results. Late-season factors such as mechanical issues, variable track conditions, or a surge in form from established rivals like Pato O'Ward or Scott Dixon could still narrow the gap before the finale.
