The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Mountain West Conference (https://themw.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Mountain West title race remains tightly bunched in trader pricing because multiple programs enter 2026 with comparable projected strength and limited separation in recent evaluations. New Mexico returns the most production league-wide and hosts key contenders, while UNLV carries momentum from prior success and benefits from roster continuity under its staff. North Dakota State’s FCS pedigree adds another high-floor option, and Hawai’i’s preseason offensive honors highlight its rising floor. Air Force and others sit just behind in implied probability. Five teams sit within a narrow SP+ band, with home matchups, transfer portal outcomes, and early-season results likely to shift consensus before conference play intensifies.
