The Chicago White Sox hold the AL Central lead with a 62-58 record, positioning them as the market favorite due to their strong home performance and recent series wins that have kept rivals at bay. Detroit Tigers sit 2.5 games back at 60-61, buoyed by a solid recent stretch and favorable upcoming matchups, while the Cleveland Guardians and Minnesota Twins trail by four games or more with middling records around .485. The Kansas City Royals remain far off the pace at 49-73. Traders appear to weigh the White Sox's division advantage and schedule strength most heavily, though the narrow gaps among the top three teams underscore how late-season form, injuries, and head-to-head results could still shift the race.
