Team WE enters the August 19 LPL Split 3 Group Ascend BO3 with stronger recent form, including a 2-0 sweep of EDward Gaming on July 30 driven by dominant mid-lane and bot-lane performances from Karis and About. WE maintains a competitive record that positions them ahead of several mid-tier sides, while EDG remains winless at 0-9 in the group following a poor Split 2 finish that dropped them into the lower tier. Key factors include WE’s consistent objective control and adaptability contrasted with EDG’s ongoing struggles to close games or secure map advantages. The BO3 format and Group Ascend playoff implications further emphasize roster execution and recent momentum heading into the matchup.
