The 2026 Formula 1 regulations have produced unusually close competition for the Italian Grand Prix constructor fastest lap at Monza, with multiple teams showing comparable pace in early-season running. The shift to lighter chassis, active aero modes, and revised power units without MGU-H has narrowed performance gaps, allowing Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, and others to post similar long-run and qualifying simulations. Monza’s high-speed layout rewards strong straight-line speed and efficient energy deployment, areas where several constructors have demonstrated advantages depending on setup and tire management. Mid-season form indicates no single team has pulled clear on one-lap race pace, keeping implied probabilities tightly clustered around the current market levels.
