This market will resolve according to the group of the winner of the Counter-Strike 2 tournament at the 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC 2026), currently scheduled for August 12, 2026 to August 23, 2026. If this tournament is postponed after September 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple teams are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the group of the team whose listed team name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, the Esports World Cup; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Multiple strong European squads populate the EWC CS2 2026 group stage, where double-elimination brackets across four groups have produced balanced advancement races and kept implied probabilities for the eventual champion’s origin nearly even. Recent results show teams such as G2 Esports, Aurora Gaming, Team Spirit, and GamerLegion securing playoff spots while others fight elimination matches, underscoring how roster depth, map pool execution, and bracket positioning can shift any group’s representative into the single-elimination playoffs. With no single region or group holding a clear edge in recent form or head-to-head history, trader consensus reflects the wide distribution of title contenders and the high variance inherent in best-of-three series.
