This market will resolve "Yes" if FACEIT implements half-time all-talk voice chat between opposing teams in FACEIT Matchmaking on an ongoing basis after the conclusion of the Season 9 test scheduled for August 5-12 2026, 11:59 PM ET. An announcement on through official communication channels will count for the purposes of this market. Otherwise, this market will resolve "No." This market will resolve "Yes" upon an official announcement or confirmation that the feature is available in FACEIT Matchmaking after August 12, 2026. If, by August 19, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, FACEIT has discontinued the feature after the test, or has not implemented it on an ongoing basis, this market will resolve "No." The resolution source for this market will be official FACEIT communications (including FACEIT support articles, the FACEIT client/matchmaking itself, and FACEIT's official social media channels); a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Community sentiment around the FACEIT halftime voice chat trial in CS2 matchmaking reflects strong initial support from the Season 9 vote, where over 100,000 participants backed the limited test that ran August 5-12. Traders appear to weigh the feature's nostalgic appeal from prior CS:GO eras against potential toxicity concerns, with the platform now analyzing match data before deciding on permanence or adjustments like muting options. This positions the yes outcome as the current consensus favorite at 69.5% implied probability, driven by roster-level player feedback and platform engagement trends rather than any single roster or meta shift.
