Bayern Munich enter the 2026-27 campaign as overwhelming favorites to secure another Bundesliga title and Champions League berth, building on their record 122-goal 2025-26 season and strong European coefficient that supports four or five German spots depending on UEFA performance spots. Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, and VfB Stuttgart remain the primary challengers for the remaining top-four or five places, with early 2026-27 results showing typical volatility after just two matchdays. Key variables include squad reinforcements ahead of the transfer deadline, managerial transitions at Leipzig and Leverkusen, the impact of concurrent Champions League participation on domestic form, and any mid-season injuries or fixture congestion that could shift momentum across the two campaigns leading into 2027-28 qualification.

Resolution is based on the competition to which the listed team is allocated by the final 2026-27 Bundesliga standings, the 2026-27 domestic cup results, and the 2026-27 UEFA competition winners. A place obtained by playing and advancing through the UEFA qualifying rounds held after the domestic season does not count, and movement between competitions caused by those qualifying rounds has no bearing on resolution.
Once it becomes mathematically impossible for the listed team to earn a 2027-28 UEFA Champions League place by these routes, the associated market will immediately resolve to "No".
If the 2026-27 Bundesliga season is cancelled or postponed past June 6, 2027, 11:59 PM ET such that the 2027-28 UEFA Champions League places cannot be determined, this market will resolve to "No".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA and/or the Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
