The 2026-27 Ligue 1 runner-up market reflects deep parity across the chasing pack behind Paris Saint-Germain, with a cluster of clubs separated by minimal implied probabilities. Lyon, Brest, Lens, and Paris FC sit at the front of trader consensus after solid 2025-26 campaigns that featured strong mid-table or European pushes, bolstered by targeted summer-window reinforcements in midfield and attack. Marseille, Monaco, Lille, and Nice remain tightly bunched due to comparable squad depth, recent form metrics, and head-to-head records that show no dominant edge in a compressed fixture list. Uncertainty around early-season injuries, managerial continuity, and fixture congestion keeps the implied probabilities compressed, underscoring how small variances in results or key absences can reorder the standings quickly.

If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
