The Bulgarian First League title race for 2026-27 remains tightly bunched because Levski Sofia’s May 2026 championship ended Ludogorets Razgrad’s 14-year run without establishing clear dominance heading into the new campaign. Multiple clubs, including CSKA Sofia, Spartak Varna, Arda, and CSKA 1948 Sofia, enter pre-season with comparable squad depth, recent form, and transfer activity that traders view as roughly equivalent. Defending champions Levski benefit from continuity under Julio Velázquez, yet the absence of any team pulling away in friendlies or early roster moves keeps implied probabilities clustered near even odds. This parity reflects the league’s post-dominance transition, where head-to-head results, home/away splits, and mid-season reinforcements can quickly shift momentum among a broad group of realistic contenders.
