This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Liga Profesional (Argentina) for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Liga Profesional (Argentina) for the 2026 season per the rules of Liga Profesional (Argentina) (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Liga Profesional (Argentina); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 Liga Profesional remains highly competitive for runner-up honors following Belgrano’s Apertura title win in May, with no single club establishing clear separation in the Clausura phase or overall standings. Argentinos Juniors holds a marginal edge in trader consensus due to stronger recent goal-scoring output and consistent results, while a broad group of sides—including Vélez Sarsfield, Estudiantes (LP), Boca Juniors, Talleres, and several mid-table or promoted teams—cluster tightly because of similar points totals, home/away splits, and fixture congestion. Inconsistent performances from traditional powerhouses like River Plate and Racing, combined with momentum swings among clubs such as Aldosivi, Banfield, and Deportivo Riestra, have kept implied probabilities bunched. The format’s emphasis on sustained form through December continues to support this even distribution among contenders.
