The resolution source will be official information from the Chinese Super League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tight clustering of implied probabilities around 45–48.5% across more than a dozen clubs reflects a highly competitive chase for second place in the 2026 Chinese Super League. After roughly 22 matchdays, Chengdu Rongcheng has pulled clear at the top with 45 points, but the group immediately behind sits within a narrow band of 29–32 points, led by Qingdao West Coast and Dalian Yingbo on 32, followed closely by Yunnan Yukun, Shandong Taishan, Beijing Guoan, and Chongqing Tonglianglong. Pre-season point deductions for several established sides, combined with strong starts from promoted teams and consistent recent form from mid-table clubs, have kept the runner-up race wide open with limited separation in the table.
