Deep Cross Gaming enters the Garena Challenger Series group-stage BO5 against LIT Team as the clear favorite, backed by a stronger regular-season record and deeper roster experience in Taiwan's competitive Honor of Kings scene. DCG posted a 7-5 mark in the Spring 2026 regular season, finishing second behind Flash Wolves while showcasing consistent map control, objective focus, and late-game execution across multiple patches. In contrast, LIT Team, a lower-placed temporary-seat squad, struggled with a sub-.500 record and limited success against top opposition. DCG's subsequent run to the Spring title, including a 4-2 grand-final win over Flash Wolves in early May, reinforced their edge in coordination and hero-pool depth. Head-to-head results further tilted sentiment, with DCG securing a prior 3-0 sweep. Factors such as patch stability, travel within the region, and any last-minute roster adjustments remain the primary variables that could influence series length in this matchup.
