Wolves enter the August 23 BO5 matchup with a clear historical edge, winning six of the last seven encounters against Talent Gaming, while benefiting from home-arena conditions in Chongqing. Both squads opened KPL Summer 2026 Stage 3 Group S strongly, with Talent Gaming posting a 3-0 map sweep and Wolves securing a 3-1 result, keeping advancement implications tight in the single round-robin format. Talent Gaming’s 2025 roster adjustments, including the addition of players like Xiang Yu and Luo Bo alongside coach Jiu Zhe, have stabilized the side after earlier transitions, though Wolves’ deeper playoff experience from recent Spring finals runs favors consistent draft execution and map control in the evolving meta.
