Pohonov Oleksandr holds a commanding 35-19 head-to-head edge over veteran Andrii Romanenko across more than 50 Setka Cup meetings, with the younger player securing the majority of recent encounters in August 2026. Romanenko, born in 1980 with over 1,400 career matches, brings extensive experience but has posted a sub-40% win rate in his last 20 outings, while Pohonov (born 2000) shows stronger consistency in shorter sets despite fewer total appearances. Matches frequently extend to four or five sets, averaging near 80 points with deuce sets common, and recent results include both sweeps and split decisions that highlight stylistic matchup volatility. Ongoing schedule density in the Setka Cup, including back-to-back sessions, adds fatigue considerations that traders weigh against established form trends.
