Caitlin Clark and Alyssa Thomas remain locked in a tight battle for the WNBA assists per game lead, each averaging 8.2 through late summer, which explains their near-even implied probabilities in the 45–55% range. Thomas has logged more total assists thanks to additional games played and higher minutes, while Clark operates with a higher usage rate and turnover volume on the Indiana roster. Jordin Canada sits a clear step behind at 7.6, and the rest of the field trails further, underscoring how recent form, playing-time allocation, and schedule strength among the top two continue to shape trader consensus on the final regular-season outcome.
