For the purpose of this market, "Valve" refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of the Counter-Strike series. For the purpose of this market, the "official map pool" refers to the Active Duty map group in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), which consists of the maps eligible for both competitive matchmaking and professional tournaments. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Valve’s measured CS2 map rotation cadence keeps implied probabilities for a Cobblestone addition by late August 2026 extremely low. The active-duty pool shifted in June–July when Cache replaced Overpass ahead of Premier Season 5, following the same deliberate rhythm that separated Train’s return from Cache by roughly 17 months. Dataminers flagged new cbble assets and winter-themed textures in early 2026 updates, confirming ongoing internal work, yet no official release, workshop integration, or pool test has occurred. Community pressure remains high after Cache’s debut, but Valve continues prioritizing balance tweaks and community-map polish over a full de_cbble remake. Any acceleration would require a surprise patch or Premier-season announcement before the deadline.
