Maxx Crosby's three-year, $106.5 million extension signed with the Las Vegas Raiders in March 2025, featuring $91.5 million in guarantees and a 2026 cap hit exceeding $35 million, anchors the heavy trader consensus around the Raiders. Recent developments reinforce this positioning: a proposed offseason trade to the Baltimore Ravens collapsed over a failed physical tied to a prior meniscus procedure, after which Crosby publicly reaffirmed his desire to remain in Las Vegas long-term. Raiders leadership and coaching staff have echoed stability, describing his return as akin to a key free-agent addition. While Dallas Cowboys interest has surfaced in scattered reports, the implied probability reflects Crosby's contractual commitment, recent form as a three-down edge defender, and limited realistic paths to a midseason trade given dead-cap implications. Scenarios that could shift outcomes include an in-season deal before the 2026 deadline or unforeseen injury, though guarantees and player preference make those lower-probability developments.
