**Recent format changes in the 2026 VCT Americas Stage 2 have opened a viable path for Tier 2 squads through double-elimination Play-Ins, where four Challengers teams face the bottom VCT seeds.** Strong recent form from promoted sides like M80 and BESTIA, bolstered by experienced players with prior Tier 1 exposure and multi-match win streaks in regional Challengers, has created roster parity that supports advancement potential. VCT teams maintain edges in map pool depth, group-stage consistency, and international experience, yet the bracket structure allows for upsets. Trader consensus at 60% implied probability for a Tier 2 title win reflects this balanced matchup dynamic and the expanded opportunity for lower-division squads to reach playoffs and contend for the stage crown.

This market will remain open until every league that has not been cancelled has declared its Stage 2 champion, or until September 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, whichever comes first. If every non-cancelled league declares a champion and none is a Tier 2 team, this market will resolve to "No". If any league has not declared a champion by September 20, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve based on the champions declared by that time, resolving to "No" if none is a Tier 2 team. If no league declares a Stage 2 champion by that time, this market will resolve 50-50.
