This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NHL for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of NHL for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NHL (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The NHL's 2027 Stanley Cup champion market reflects deep league parity, with implied probabilities tightly clustered and no team exceeding 11.5%. The Florida Panthers, Colorado Avalanche, and Carolina Hurricanes sit atop the board due to established cores, recent playoff experience, and offseason roster continuity, while the Edmonton Oilers, Vegas Golden Knights, and Tampa Bay Lightning remain close behind on the strength of star power and goaltending depth. Salary-cap constraints, frequent roster turnover, and the absence of a dominant dynasty keep the field bunched, as traders price in realistic paths for multiple clubs entering training camp. Historical patterns of upsets and late surges further support the competitive spread across the listed contenders.
