This market will resolve according to the first individual who is officially announced as the successor to Jamie Dimon as CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co. by December 31, 2028, 11:59 PM ET. An announcement of a successor will be sufficient for a "Yes" resolution regardless of whether the announced replacement actually becomes the next CEO of JPMorgan Chase. Interim CEOs will not qualify. If no successor is announced by December 31, 2028, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source will be public statements from JPMorgan Chase & Co, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Recent executive reshuffles at JPMorgan Chase have intensified the succession contest for Jamie Dimon's role, with trader sentiment reflecting a wide-open field among multiple internal contenders. The June 2026 promotions of Doug Petno and Troy Rohrbaugh to co-presidents—pairing Petno with sole leadership of the Commercial & Investment Bank and Rohrbaugh with Consumer and Community Banking—while Marianne Lake's retirement removed a prior frontrunner, sharpened focus on these two. Yet market-implied odds remain tightly clustered near even money for several names, underscoring uncertainty over the board's timeline and criteria. Dimon's confirmed plan to stay at least three more years allows extended evaluation of performance metrics, leadership in key divisions, and retention incentives as the decisive factors.
