The 2026 SEC passing yards race remains tightly contested early in the season, with trader consensus reflecting a deep pool of starting quarterbacks across high-volume offenses. Trinidad Chambliss at Ole Miss and Arch Manning at Texas enter as leading candidates after strong 2025 production and positive Week 1 showings, while Gunner Stockton at Georgia, Sam Leavitt at LSU, and Marcel Reed at Texas A&M also project for substantial attempts under proven schemes. Additional contenders such as LaNorris Sellers, John Mateer, and Keelon Russell benefit from favorable supporting casts and recent form, creating a wide distribution of implied probabilities. Week 1 results, offensive line health, receiver depth, and game script will likely drive early separation among these signal-callers.
