The World and Aterion Esports met in a best-of-three during the opening round of the BetBoom Rise of Legends Season 10 Close Qualifiers, a modified single-elimination bracket for second-division squads seeking advancement. Aterion carried recent head-to-head momentum after taking a 2-1 series on May 4 and a 2-1 series on June 1 in regular-season play. The World’s roster faced transition uncertainty after INVISION acquired its core on May 31, potentially disrupting lineup chemistry and preparation for the June 15 qualifier match. Both teams posted similar mid-table records in the preceding double round-robin, with Aterion finishing 8-6, leaving the outcome dependent on which side adapted faster to the high-stakes BO3 format and any last-minute roster or meta adjustments in the CIS MLBB scene.
