**BNK FEARX enters the August 28 LCK Play-In final with clear momentum after a 3-1 elimination win over Nongshim RedForce on August 27, while HANJIN BRION arrives on short rest following a hard-fought but ultimately losing 3-2 series against KT Rolster on August 26.** Both teams finished the regular season at 10-16 in the Rise Group, with BRION claiming the top spot via set differential and FEARX placing third. Their regular-season head-to-head record stands split after an initial 2-0 BRION win, but FEARX responded with a decisive 2-1 victory in their most recent August 20-21 matchup, highlighted by strong performances from mid laner VicLa and bot laner Taeyoon. BRION’s roster, featuring veterans like ADC Teddy and jungler Gideon, showed fight in the Play-In opener by forcing five games and securing key objective wins before KT closed it out in Game 5. FEARX, led by top laner Clear, jungler Raptor, and support Kellin, has looked sharper in high-stakes series, demonstrating better macro execution and scaling in their Play-In win. The best-of-five uses Fearless Draft, emphasizing adaptation across maps. FEARX’s recent form and the 3-1 result against Nongshim give traders reason to view them as slight favorites for the final playoff berth, though BRION’s experience and desperation create realistic comeback potential in a tightly contested elimination match.
