Anastasia Zakharova and Hanne Vandewinkel, both ranked inside the WTA top 100, meet on hard courts at the 2026 Enka Open in Istanbul with similar recent momentum. Zakharova, currently around No. 85-101, advanced through early rounds after a mixed grass-court swing that included wins over lower-ranked opponents. Vandewinkel, near No. 98, posted straight-sets and three-set victories in her opening matches while building on strong 2026 results that included Grand Slam main-draw appearances. Their limited prior head-to-head meetings favor Zakharova, yet Vandewinkel’s improved consistency and serve effectiveness on hard courts keep the matchup competitive. Tournament scheduling, rest between rounds, and any late fitness updates will shape implied probabilities reflected in current trader positioning.
