Anastasia Zakharova and Linda Fruhvirtova are both entered in the inaugural Memphis Classic, a WTA 250 event on outdoor hard courts at Leftwich Tennis Center from July 27–August 2, 2026. Zakharova leads their head-to-head 2-1, including straight-set hard-court victories in March 2026 at Indian Wells and the Austin Challenger. Fruhvirtova enters as a qualifier or lower-seeded player in the 32-player draw, while Zakharova features among the confirmed main-draw participants. Recent form on hard courts, ranking positions, and any late withdrawals or schedule adjustments ahead of the draw release will shape implied probabilities in this early-round matchup. The surface typically rewards consistent baseline play and strong serving, factors that have favored Zakharova in prior encounters.
