Leonel Cesar Castro, an 18-year-old Argentine clay-court specialist with a 2026 record near 10-10, faces 30-year-old American Felix Corwin on indoor hard at the M15 Trelew. Corwin enters with greater experience across surfaces, a career win-loss of 182-164, and recent hard-court results in U.S. ITF events, while Castro has compiled most of his matches on clay with limited hard-court exposure. The indoor hard surface favors Corwin’s established game and consistency in shorter rallies, though Castro’s youth and recent qualifying wins could produce competitive sets if he adapts quickly. No direct head-to-head exists, and both players carry mixed recent form entering the September event.
