Alec Deckers enters this Roehampton Challenger qualifying match as the clear favorite against Conor Gannon on outdoor hard courts, supported by a substantial ranking gap of roughly 250-300 spots. The 26-year-old Dutch player sits near No. 580 with a career-high of 483 and has posted a 36-27 record over the past year, while the 24-year-old Irish Gannon ranks around No. 824-1,030 following his first ITF title. No prior head-to-head exists between the pair. Recent form and surface preference favor Deckers in this first-round qualifier, though Gannon’s youth and home-region familiarity provide limited upset potential in what remains a lower-stakes early-round encounter.
