Christopher Papa and Baoluo Zheng face Anthony Genov and Kai Wehnelt in the round of 16 of the 2026 Sion Challenger doubles draw on outdoor clay. Genov and Wehnelt enter with strong recent momentum, including straight-sets quarterfinal wins and semifinal appearances in preceding ITF M25 events on similar surfaces, backed by Wehnelt’s established doubles ranking near 215. The Papa/Zheng pairing has competed at the ITF level with mixed results, including recent outings in Germany, but lacks the consistent team success or ranking depth shown by the Bulgarian-German duo. Clay-court movement, serve-volley patterns, and short turnaround from prior matches will shape the outcome in this first meeting between the teams.
