Valerio Aboian and his partner face Vardan Manukyan and Dusan Obradovic on clay at the Plovdiv Challenger series. Aboian brings stronger recent clay form from multiple South American challenger appearances, including wins over higher-ranked opponents and solid break-point conversion rates, while Serna adds pairing experience in lower-tier events. Manukyan/Obradovic rely on Obradovic’s modest singles ranking around the low 400s and occasional doubles results, but lack comparable depth against established clay specialists. The surface and Aboian’s head-to-head edge in prior encounters on clay shape the matchup dynamics ahead of this round. No major injuries or roster changes reported for either side.
