Granollers and Zeballos, the No. 3 seeds and multiple-time major champions including back-to-back Roland Garros titles, enter the Cincinnati hard-court matchup with superior doubles experience, tactical cohesion, and recent form on varied surfaces. Cabral and Tracy, an American pairing showing promise on the North American swing after a Washington round-of-16 run that included a win over Ram/Salisbury, have encountered tougher opposition lately, including a Montreal loss to Luz/Matos. The veteran duo’s serve-volley patterns and return pressure typically exploit less-established teams in early rounds, though the home pairing’s recent momentum and court familiarity could test that edge in best-of-three sets.
